On April 8th and 9th I attended a JCL(Junior Classical League) Convention. It sounds pretty nerdy and it might be, but it was for my Latin class at school. It was actually pretty fun. My art project even placed, major shock. It was fifth but still, I was shocked. This picture above is of my boyfriend and I. We got voluntold to be in our skit for the convention. I am dressed as a horse, I played the Chimaera (sp?) and he is Marius. It was a non sequitor play and we only practiced a billion times before we left, but it's all good. We won the convnetion for our 15th year in a row.
It may be a nerdy thing, but latin is pretty cool.
